Champagne, famous for the sparkling wine produced from grapes grown on its rolling hillsides, is a province located east of Paris.  This region became a part of France when the Count of Champagne was crowned Louis X in 1314.

Champagne is synonymous with sophisticated elegance, and the room draws on that image in its XIX Century design. Soft gray walls, two wall columns and white trim set the stage. A large tapestry hanging on the North wall and a gold-framed mirror over the marble mantelpiece, acquired from the owners of the Chateau de Sauvan in Provence, complete the room.
