Bavaria, the Southeastern state of Germany, covers a wide region that extends from the plain of the Danube to the peaks of the Alps. A very strongly organized duchy, Bavaria became a kingdom in 1806, when Napoleon abolished the Holy Roman Empire. In the mid-XIX Century, King Ludwig II constructed the castles and palaces, including Neuschwanstein, which have given Bavaria its romantic image. In 1871, Bavaria was incorporated into the Prussia-dominated German Empire.
The room is decorated with old German country furniture, an original map of the kingdom and other items to reflect the feel of a Bavarian home.
